Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones is unhappy with comments made by Sunderland boss Steve Bruce when selling him.
Bruce sold the Trinidad and Tobago international for £9million in August claiming he was not consistent enough.
Jones netted 26 Premier League goals in 82 starts for Bruce's club as well as helping Darren Bent become a predatory force in the top flight.
And the big frontman prepares for Monday's clash with Aston Villa baffled by the outburst.
Jones said: "He has made comments. I'm not going into what he said as it doesn't make sense.
"I enjoyed my time there and all I can do is concentrate on Stoke."
