Stoke stick with boss Hughes after reports Pulis may return

Mark Hughes retains the support of the Stoke City board ahead of Saturday's game against West Bromwich Albion, Sky Sports News understands.

It follows reports that former manager Tony Pulis is being lined up for a third spell in charge at the bet365 Stadium, with Stoke one point above the relegation zone after five defeats in their last six Premier League games.

The Stoke hierarchy are concerned by recent results, but it is understood the club currently have no plans to approach Pulis.
