Stoke City have secured the services of Venancio De Silva Monteiro.

The Portuguese was brought to England by Manchester United, who had to fight off the attention of Manchester City and Benfica to sign the teen.

Monteiro featured for United last season, but was again on the move this summer to Stoke.

The youngster featured for Stoke U18 in their defeat at United on Saturday.
