Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross says the Brit fans can make the difference against Manchester City.
Whilst the City skipper knows Roberto Mancini's side will provide the Potters with a stern test on Saturday afternoon, he is convinced that with everyone, players and supporters alike, pulling in the same direction, he and his team-mates can once again upset the odds.
"People will expect them to come here and win the game," he told stokecityfc.com. "Even more so, after the way they went to Fulham and won so convincingly last weekend.
"But we are on a fantastic run ourselves, and we have been playing very well. We look dangerous in attack and we have managed to remain very solid at the back.
"We know what good a team they are though, so we will have to be wary of that. They have world class players in every position; but that aside we have our own strengths too, and that is what we have to focus on."
He added: "They came here last season and they struggled against us. We held them to a draw at their place in the FA Cup and then beat them here in the replay, and were gutted only to get a point against them in the League.
"We have the belief that we can win the game, and I'm sure the supporters will share the same view. They were fantastic against Liverpool, and really rocked the place.
"Hopefully, they can be equally as loud on Saturday because it really does make this place such an intimidating place for the opposition."
