Stoke City are on the verge of completing a deal for Porto defender Bruno Martins-Indi.

The Dutchman is set for a medical at the club on Wednesday after a fee of £7m was agreed upon by the two clubs, according to Sky Sports.

Martins Indi spent last season on loan with the Potters, forming a good relationship with Ryan Shawcross after his 37 appearances.

Crystal Palace had agreed a deal with Porto for the 25-year old, but Martins Indi never appeared at Selhurst Park for his medical.
