Stoke City have opened talks with Sevilla for Diego Perotti.

The talented Argentine has been a past target for Liverpool and will leave Sevilla today.

Perotti has been in talks with Portuguese clubs this week, though the Daily Mail says he has also fielded an offer from Boca Juniors.

Stoke boss Mark Hughes is hoping to convince Perotti to remain in Europe and move to the Potters today.
