Ipswich Town have failed with a bid for Stoke City defender Danny Collins.

The Daily Star says Stoke have rejected a £1 million offer from Stoke for the Wales international.

However, they are set to sign Blackburn Rovers midfielder Keith Andrews, 30, on a season-long loan.
