Stoke City are set to receive £4.8 million fee for striker Dave Kitson if Reading are promoted this season.

"We want Reading to go up. It's another fixture I keep my eye on," chairman Peter Coates told BBC Radio Stoke.

"He didn't get an early goal, and he (struggled to settle in the area). You don't know whether they are connected."
