Stoke push through to FA Cup quarters with win over Man City

Stoke City have moved through to the FA Cup quarter finals with a 3-1 win in extra time over Manchester City.

The Potters managed three goals in 20 minutes in a bizarre finish which saw City's Emmanuel Adebayor sent off seven minutes before the end of regular time.

In the fifth round replay, Stoke struck first in the 79th minute through Dave Kitson before the visitors levelled within two minutes thanks to Craig Bellamy, forcing the match into extra time.

But Tony Pulis' men overcame their cashed-up opponents, scoring through defender Ryan Shawcross in the fifth minute of extra time then wrapping up the contest in the 99th minute when Tuncay beat two City defenders and fired home for Stoke's third.
