Stoke City have pulled back from a deal for Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi.
The Daily Star says the two clubs have agreed a £4.5m deal rising to £7m for the 25-year-old Moroccan international who spent last season on loan at The Britannia.
But Stoke are refusing to go anywhere near the £45,000-a-week Assaidi is understood to want.
