Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is considering their next move over West Ham United striker Carlton Cole.
West Ham have turned down an initial offer from the Potters, thought to be an initial £3m, with substantial appearance clauses and other incentives, says The Sentinel.
The Hammers are expected to sell Cole and fellow England internationals Rob Green and Scott Parker following their relegation to the Championship.
But boss Sam Allardyce is adamant his players won't be allowed to leave for a knock-down price.
