Stoke playing hard ball with Sevilla target N'Zonzi

Stoke City are refusing to give in to Sevilla's pursuit of Steven N'Zonzi.

It is no secret that Europa League winners Sevilla are looking to secure the signing of N'Zonzi and had placed a bid of around £3million in an attempt to sign the midfielder. The bid was laughed off by Stoke though as they value N'Zonzi close to around £10million.

In a bid to convince Stoke, Sevilla chief executive Monchi travelled to England recently to hold face to face discussions with the Premier League side but it has now emerged that the meeting was not a constructive one.

According to reports from the Stoke Sentinel, the Potters are holding firm on their valuation of Frenchman N'Zonzi and Monchi has been forced to return back to Seville empty handed.
