Stoke City No2 Mark Bowen has revealed that manager Mark Hughes has cleared the air with on-loan Manchester City star John Guidetti.

The Swede caused a storm back home by being quoted as saying he wasn't happy at the club. Guidetti said he was angry at not playing and hadn't come to sit on the bench.

Bowen said: "Mark has spoken to him about it and it's been cleared up. He's fine about it.

"We didn't think it was fair to throw him straight in."
