Stoke City will not be completing a move for Aston Villa forward Keinan Davis.

The Midlands club were willing to loan Davis to Stoke, which would allow him to get regular football.

However, Football Insider claims that Davis has suffered an injury that will keep him out for roughly two months.

The 23-year-old will have to recover and patiently wait for the January transfer window before any move can happen.

Davis has 33 Premier League appearances under his belt in the past two seasons, but only five starts.
