The veteran center back has struggled for game time this season.

The 31-year-old defender has only played in the FA Cup and League Cup for Villa this season.

The Stoke Sentinel suggests that a deal may be done in the coming day before the transfer window slams shut.

Chester is already en route to have his medical exams done.

The window closes at 11pm on Friday, which means any deals must be concluded by then.
