Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen is happy with his decision to leave Liverpool.

Allen joined the Potters last month after impressing for Wales at the Euros.

"I think it had come to the point that I knew I needed to move on," he explained.

"Personally, it was pretty obvious.

"Hopefully I'll get a lot more playing time now and I think it will also be very important for my national team career."
