Stoke City midfielder Rory Delap understands Wolves fans booing him during Sunday's 0-0 draw.
The frustrated home supporters produced thunderous chants of "boring, boring" as a stop-start first half featured 13 Delap throw-ins.
"I thought they were chanting 'Rory, Rory'," grinned Delap as he reflected on a hard-earned point.
"I was born around here, so I was thinking it was nice of them to give me so much support."
The midfielder, who was born a mere long throw away in Birmingham, looked Stoke's most likely source of a goal as he bombarded the Wolves penalty area in a game of few clear chances.
He told The Sentinel: "That first half must have been a record for the number of throws. It is just one of those things. It wasn't a pretty game and the Wolves fans are entitled to their opinion."
