Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye is a target for Everton.

The Sun says the midfielder only signed for Stoke in January, when they brought him from Galatasaray.

But the pull of top-tier football is proving too much for the Senegalese international.

Stoke are doing all they can to hold onto the 27-year-old, but may well lose another player before their Championship challenge begins.

Premier League new-boys Wolves are also interested in the midfielder and Everton are keen to move quickly in order to provide Idrissa Gueye with a midfield partner.
