Wedderburn started both the 3-1 triumph over hosts Slovenia and the 2-0 victory over Slovakia.
"It's the best," he told The Sentinel. "It's the proudest moment of my career so far.
"I played centre midfield in both games. I thought we played well and I did all right in the first game. against Slovenia. I found it a different kind of football because you had to be more patient. The tempo of the game was slower than usual and you had to accept the opposition would have spells on the ball.
"My second game against Slovakia was different because it was more physical. We had to work really hard and defend well.
"Counter-attacking was important and we killed the game with our second goal after we had defended well then broke up field."
