Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen says Matthew Etherington's form has been crucial for the Potters this season.
Etherington created Ricardo Fuller's winner against Portsmouth on Saturday.
Sorensen told The Sentinel: "One chance and one goal is all you need and Ric again proved that he's the man.
"Matty played a good ball in and it was a great strike by Ric.
"He's always a threat and that's what you get with him.
"Sometimes he might not work as hard as some of the others, but when he gets the opportunities, with his pace and trickery, on his day he's a world-class player."
