Stoke keeper Sorensen convinced they're safe

Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is convinced they're safe after victory over Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Sorensen told The Sentinel: "This win puts us in a great position. It didn't really matter about other results because this put Blackburn five points behind us, and some of the others more. There are only five games to go and I can see us getting more wins. That's the main thing.

"We are nearly there which is great, but that doesn't mean we aren't still going to give it a right good go.

"With the form we are showing, everything is on the other teams now to catch us.

"They need to win three or four games and there are so many teams down there that I can't see five of them catching us. But we need to make sure and we will keep going and see how high we can get."
