Stoke City have joined the long list of clubs interested in Rennes defender Cheikh M'Bengue.

M'Bengue is attracting the interest from a host of clubs following his wonderful season with Rennes and a move to either Everton or Bayer Leverkusen has been mentioned.

Stoke boss Mark Hughes is also an admirer of M'Bengue and now according to reports from the Stoke Sentinel, the Welshman is planning to make a swoop for the left-back.

M'Bengue is in the final year of his contract at Rennes and there is a strong possibility that the defender will be making a move this summer.
