Marc Muniesa has stated that Stoke City is certainly the right club for him to develop as a player.


Muniesa signed a four-year deal with Stoke on the eve of the Premier League campaign and has started all of the Potters' four Premier League matches so far.

Now Muniesa has gone on to speak regarding his season and has stated that the Britannia Stadium is the perfect place for him to develop his game.

Muniesa said: "It was an easy decision for me to stay at Stoke for a long time. Since the first day they wanted to speak to me I wanted to sign.

"They have shown a great confidence in me, and it was easy for me to repay that. This is the right place for me.

"This is a big season for me. I want to play every week. I have been doing well, playing a lot of minutes and I am feeling stronger and better. I want that to continue.

"I'm not entirely happy because the results and the points are not in our pocket yet, but that will come. We just have to keep going, working hard."
