Stoke get set to welcome back Muniesa

Marc Muniesa set to soon return to training for Stoke City reveals assistant manager Mark Bowen.

?Muniesa has been sidelined due to a hamstring he picked up during Stoke's FA Cup defeat at the hands of Championship side Blackburn Rovers on February 14.

?After more than a month on the sidelines, it has been revealed by Bowen that the young Spaniard will be returning to training within the next week.

?"Marc will be putting himself in the picture and we'll be hoping he'll rejoin training sometime this week," said Bowen.

?It is also believed that Stephen Ireland and Ryan Shawcross are coming along well after recently returning from injury.

?"Stephen Ireland came through the game all right and it was another game for Ryan Shawcross after his injury," he added.

?"We will re-group, do some good work with the players left behind and then count down the day until everyone is back in, two or three days before we play Chelsea."?
