Stoke defender Pieters: We must do better

Stoke City defender Erik Pieters admits their performance wasn't good enough against West Bromwich Albion.

The Baggies took a point away from the Brit.

Pieters said: "If you want to look at it in a positive way we got a point but we have to thank Asmir for saving that last chance.

"He did that twice. You do it as a team but Asmir was really important for us. We had two or three good chances and they had the same.

"It could have been 0-0 or 1-1, in the end you have to be happy with one point. We had a clean sheet and that was important for us.

"We didn't get the confidence out of this game, we didn't get the second half we wanted, but we didn't lose and that is the important thing."
