Stoke City defender Erik Pieters is delighted for young teammate Marc Muniesa.
Muniesa stepped in for the injured Pieters for victory over Chelsea.
"Marc, he did really well and I am very proud of him," Pieters told The Sentinel.
"We came to Stoke together and I know it was difficult for him because he didn't play many matches.
"But when he played against Chelsea it is good for him and good for the team.
"But I want to play as well and if the manager chooses from me or Marc, it is no problem."
