Stoke City have confirmed the signing of striker Michael Owen on a one-year deal.
The 32-year old striker has joined the Potters as a free agent after he was released by Manchester United at the end of last season.
Former Liverpool ace Owen was linked with the likes of Sunderland, Everton and the Reds this summer but has now committed himself to the Britannia Stadium club.
Owen becomes Tony Pulis' seventh signing in recent weeks, following Jamie Ness, Geoff Cameron, Michael Kightly, Maurice Edu, Charlie Adam and Steven N'Zonzi.
