Sweden defender Markus Jonsson is in the sights of Stoke City.
The Sun says the AIK right-back is available on a free transfer and the 28-year-old is desperate for a move to the Premier League.
Stoke boss Tony Pulis has been alternating between Robert Huth and Andy Wilkinson at right-back but wants to bring in some more defensive cover in the January transfer window.
And with Jonsson, who joined AIK in 2006, available for nothing, it is thought a two-year deal will convince the full-back to move to the Britannia Stadium.
Jonsson, who has four caps for his country, was an ever-present as AIK completed a Swedish League and Cup double earlier this month.
He is also known for his attacking play down the flanks and is AIK's first-choice penalty taker.
