Stoke City boss Tony Pulis revealed that Andy Wilkinson regrets the tackle that has left Fulham's Moussa Dembele out of action for three weeks.
There were fears of a longer spell on the sidelines for Dembele.
He said: "Andy watches it now and says, 'I shouldn't have done it'.
"But he's a young kid with a heart the size of a lion and is very enthusiastic. He's just got to channel it in the right direction.
"He just has to learn and understand the game."
