Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has warned Chelsea off goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Pulis is preparing to receive an improved bid from the Blues for the Bosnia keeper.
Pulis said: "We're not in a position where we must sell. Chelsea made an enquiry but there's no need to cash in on him.
"Chelsea have been told he's not for sale. We're trying to bring players in, not let our better players go.
"We want him to work with Thomas and let the two of them fight it out.
"I got him on a very good deal from Portsmouth and we want to keep the lad.
"I've not made my decision yet on who starts but it's a nice headache to have."
