Stoke City boss Tony Pulis are chasing Liverpool midfielder Christian Poulsen.
The Sentinel says Pulis is convinced the big clubs will be busy in the transfer market this summer, and that could leave Stoke in with a shout of a clutch of players like Poulsen at Liverpool and his French team-mate David Ngog.
Poulsen has figured just six times since Kenny Dalglish took charge at Liverpool in January and would arrive at the Britannia with a point to prove.
Pulis will also have done his homework on Poulsen via his Danish compatriot Thomas Sorensen.
