Stoke City boss Paul Lambert has no doubts about the quality of Tyrese Campbell.
Lambert believes the youngster has a big future … but he also wants to see improvements in his all-round game, playing a part even when he is not finding the net, to earn a shot in the big time.
“He's a definite goal scorer," said Lambert. “He can be a little bit better in the work aspect, which I've spoken to him about, but the boy can score.
“He's got a big future, without wanting to put a burden on his shoulders, if he listens and works hard. Nobody is going to give him anything, it's not a gift. If he earns the right I will take a look but he has to give me problems. He is definitely one to keep an eye on.
“Unfortunately he rolled his ankle the other day in training. He has trained with us and he played (for the under-23s) on Monday. He has to earn the right to get in. It's not a gift. If I think he's ready I'll throw him in."
