Stoke City boss Mark Hughes won't give up on signing VfL Wolfsburg striker Ivica Olic.
Olic has been delivering various comments about his future over the past few weeks which have both encouraged and discouraged potential suitors.
"I think he's come out with a few statements in the Press," said Hughes this afternoon, "but we are not certain that's the end of the situation.
"Our interest is there and we'll remain in the frame for his signature until it's time to walk away.
"We don't feel we are there, but we are close and need an answer soon."
