Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is delighted with what he's seen from Wilfried Bony in training.

Hughes says just watching Bony go goal-hunting in training has him thinking there could be something special just around the corner.

He said: “We're really excited by Wilfried being here and from what we've seen just out on the training ground.

“He's scoring three, four and five goals every session and he's disappointed when he even misses one."

Former Manchester United frontman Hughes knows first hand what to look for in a striker's DNA.

He added: “When he misses chances in training he's not happy with himself and that's always a good sign."
