Stoke boss Hughes eager for Bojan not to rush recovery

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is eager for Bojan Krkic not to rush his injury recovery.

Bojan has been given permission to continue his recovery from a cruciate knee ligament injury back home in Barcelona - and the club has sent its physio out to double check his progress.

"He's still on track and I think he's working hard," said Hughes.

"Probably the danger with Bojan is that he does too much work to soon, so we are mindful of that.

"Physio Dave Watson has been out this weekend and I know Geoff Cameron paid him a visit over the weekend as well. So we are keeping close attention on what he's up to.

"The key is he's getting good work and the plan is to bring him back on July 1 when everybody else comes back for pre-season.

"He won't be ready for training, but it's important he gets back into the group."
