Stoke boss Hughes delighted with Bojan condition

Mark Hughes admits he is happy with the progress Bojan Krkic has made in his fitness levels since his long term injury.

Bojan made his first competitive start for Stoke against Luton Town in the Capital One Cup second round clash on Tuesday night.

The Spaniard lasted 85 minutes against Luton and Hughes has been left pleased by the condition of the talented forward.

Hughes told Stoke Player: "He played a decent amount of time tonight and he is only going to get better. We saw a lot of his quality, he started to tire toward the end but that was probably expected.

"He was always looking to go forward and find those key passes, so we were pleased with him and he will come on a bundle after that."

Bojan is now in contention to make his first Premier League appearance of the season when the Potters take on West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
