Stoke board choosing methodical approach in managerial search

Stoke City board not rushing into appointing a replacement for the recently sacked Mark Hughes at the Bet365 Stadium.

After embarrassingly being knocked out of the FA Cup by League Two outfit Coventry City recently, Hughes lost his position as manager of City and the club are currently on the lookout for a new man in charge.

The likes of Paul Lambert, Ryan Giggs, Martin O'Neill, Michael O'Neill, Gary Rowett and Slaven Bilic have all been mentioned as potential candidates for the Stoke job but according to reports, the club board will not rush into an appointment and are currently taking a methodical approach before making a decision.
