Stoke City have been left surprised that there has been no interest in the likes of Peter Crouch, Phil Bardsley and Marc Wilson.

The Potters have lost a couple of key men in Steven N'Zonzi and Asmir Begovic this summer and it was widely expected that fringe players such as veteran striker Crouch, defender Bardsley and the versatile Wilson would also be leaving the Britannia Stadium.

Much to Stoke's surprise though, there has been no interest in the aforementioned trio and it is likely that the Potters will be keeping hold of most of their squad players before the end of the transfer window.
