Stockport boss Jim Gannon has eased his goalkeeping crisis by signing Blackburn youngster Zac Jones on a one-month loan deal.

Gannon was forced into making the swoop for the 19-year-old after back-up stopper Chris Adamson was ruled out for six weeks after breaking a finger during training on Thursday.

Jones has never played a first-team game for Mark Hughes' side but spent a three-month loan spell at Southampton in 2005.
