Barnet boss Mark Stimson has still yet to agree a settlement with former club Gillingham over his departure. Stimson had his contract at the Kent club terminated by mutual consent following the Gills` relegation from League One last term and he has since taken over at Underhill.
Stimson has rejected his old club's initial offer and negotiations are ongoing regarding a settlement.
Gillingham chairman Paul Scally told the Kent Messenger: "We made an offer but it's been declined. We are waiting to hear back from their lawyers on the latest offer. It's work in progress."
