Stephan Lichtsteiner is furious today after being left a Juventus player with the transfer window now shut.

The defender, reports Tuttosport, had asked Juve to release him from his deal on Monday.

The Swiss' agents had agreed terms with Inter Milan over a three-year contract worth €3 million-a-season.

Inter were ready to sign Lichtsteiner yesterday, but Juve slapped a €10 million price-tag on the veteran - which stunned Inter.

The Nerazzurri offered €2 million in the morning, but it wasn't enough to convince Juve to sell.
