Dejan Stankovic admits Inter Milan's start to the season could not have been worse.

Before victory over Bologna last night, Nerazzurri had only one point in three Serie A games, while they also lost to AC Milan in the Italian Super Cup and Trabzonspor in the Champions League.

"Not even in my worst nightmare could I have imagined a worse start to the season," confessed Stankovic.

"Don't forget not so long ago with Jose Mourinho we touched the stars. Then we changed four different Coaches and it's tough to get used to new working methods and tactics.

"This crisis must come to an end, just as our triumph reached its natural conclusion."
