Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic has defended coach Rafa Benitez.
The Nerazzurri have struggled in Serie A and the Champions League with reports the Coach could be axed this month.
"Benitez is the right man," Stankovic told Inter Channel. "We have great men working for this club. If they chose him, they certainly didn't do it randomly.
"All of us step off the field after having given our all. When the results don't come, people claim we lack desire, motivation and hunger for victory.
"The truth is that slowly, as the days go by, that desire to prove them wrong grows within us. We are perhaps hungrier than last season.
"As they say in Italy, you count what you've got at the end. Now we have an important month ahead of us to close a year that will remain in Inter's history."
