St. Etienne could be ready to sell young centre-back Wesley Fofana.

L'Equipe says the Ligue 1 team is ready to do business, but only if he can stay on loan for another season.

The club does not want to lose Fofana right now, and think another year would be good for his development.

He would then join Leicester for next season.

It is a similar deal to the one that took William Saliba to Arsenal, as he joined the club this summer, a year after the transfer was secured.

West Ham are also very interested in the 19-year-old Frenchman.
