St Etienne are interested in Chelsea defender Malang Sarr.

The former Nice stopper signed for Chelsea last month after being allowed to come off contract at OGCN.

Telefoot says a return to Ligue 1 could now be on for Sarr, with St Etienne coach Claude Puel keen.

Puel sees Sarr as an ideal option should Wesley Fofana be sold to Leicester City in the coming days.

For Sarr, there's an acceptance at Chelsea that he must move out on-loan for the new campaign.
