St Etienne are interested in Arsenal fullback Mathieu Debuchy.

The Frenchman has declared he wants to leave the Gunners this month, but there's been few offers tabled.

Le Progres says ASSE are keen, but only see Debuchy as a backup signing to Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic.

If a deal for Subotic falls through, then St Etienne will seek to do business with Arsenal for Debuchy.

Debuchy has also been linked with Olympique Marseille this month.
