St Etienne defender Florentin Pogba says kid brother Paul isn't beyond getting a clip around the ear.

Florentin is proud of Paul and his move to Manchester United, but says he'll always make sure he doesn't get carried away with his fame.

"I'm the oldest, yet in the minds of people, they think of Paul. Even with me, I've been told, 'Oh, I thought it was Paul who was the oldest!' It's because he is bigger than me and because he was quickly covered by the media, before us.

"So for them, he is the oldest, it makes me laugh," he told L'Equipe.

"Paul, I will slap him when he gets up to nonsense, I have to preach. Whatever happens, even if he has five Ballon d'Ors, he is my little brother. I do not care about his status. He can play with Cristiano, Messi, who he wants, he will always be my little brother, and I will protect him."
