Fernando Llorente says he's ready to sign a new deal with Tottenham.

The Spanish veteran struck in last night's Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund.

And afterwards, he told El Larguero: "If I renew for a year, I will be delighted, the project is exciting here in Tottenham, but I will also be attentive to any call that may come.

"They did not call me (in January) from Bilbao, but there was a call from another place in Spain ... that call was not from the south.

"It may be that Harry Kane's injury influenced at the time why I did not leave this winter."

Llorente also had a word for BVB whiz Jadon Sancho.

He added: "I was impressed by Jadon Sancho, he is a player with incredible qualities."
