Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has not turned down a contract offer from Southampton, according to reports.

The Dane is out of contract in 2021 and has recently paired up with super-agent Pini Zahavi.

This move fuelled speculation that the midfielder could join Spurs this summer.

But the Daily Echo says there is a still a possibility that Hojbjerg could re-sign with Saints.

Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has constantly stated that he wants all contract negotiations delayed until the club's Premier League status is secured.
