Tottenham striker Harry Kane is convinced by England's U21 talent.
After Spain, the reigning champions, and Holland both failed to qualify for the U21 Euros, the Spurs striker believes England have no need to fear anyone.
"Are we the equal of the best young sides in Europe? I think so," he told the London Evening Standard. "There are a lot of talented young English players and, in time, I think we'll do very well.
"We have a lot of players coming through and players who are gaining experience of European football. That is exciting for the future. Spain haven't qualified for the tournament but we have and not many teams will want to play us. We have one of the best squads in the competition."
